The location of the hotel was very convenient as it was very close to the train station. It made it easy for us to catch our train to one of the nearby islands. the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was well-maintained. the staff provided good service and were polite. Despite some issues with communication, they were helpful in resolving any concerns we had. the breakfast, although simple, was tasty and satisfying.

Great location near market district, train station, temple, and fort. Staff is attentive and enthusiastic. Excellent restaurant nearby. Basic utilities and breakfast provided. Family room upstairs is nice with comfortable beds. Bathrooms could be cleaner. Close to city center and train station. Quiet ventilator for good sleep.

Loved the "complimentary newspapers" - finally something to pass the time while waiting for the tour desk to open at noon. Shared lounge was great for awkwardly avoiding eye contact with other guests.
Who needs cleanliness anyway? The dirty sheets and unwashed bathroom added a rustic touch to my stay.

Friendly staff, they made me feel like royalty. Shared lounge was perfect for my luxurious afternoon tea. Loved the 24-hour front desk, because who needs sleep when you can demand service at any hour?
Complimentary newspapers? How thoughtful!

The hotel provided a clean and well-kept accommodation, which was a major plus. The staff was also quite helpful and accommodating, making our stay more comfortable. the hotel's location was very convenient, with easy access to key attractions and facilities in the area.
There were a few downsides to our experience. The room we booked was on the smaller side, which limited our movement and made it difficult to relax.

The rooms were super comfortable with air conditioning and cozy beds. The location was mind-blowing, close to bus and train stations. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff was jaw-droppingly sweet and hospitable! They even had bikes for rent, which was a super fun and great way to explore the city. Highly recommend this place for a trip!

The staff were super friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. The breakfast, though simple, was absolutely delicious and we loved every bite. The location was perfect, within walking distance of all the sights and the train station. The owner was so accommodating and even gave us a treat every morning. The wifi was lightning fast and the room, although a bit warm without AC, was easily cooled down with the fan and open windows. Would highly recommend to budget travelers!

We had a fantastic stay at a hotel in Jaffna. the staff, especially Mr Antony, who works the night shift, were incredibly helpful and kind. the manager was also lovely and polite. Upon our early morning arrival, the hotel even accommodated us in a separate temporary room. the breakfast was great and filling. We are already looking forward to visiting again. Just a small suggestion for improvement, the hotel could fix a slight leak in the shower and replace the tap in the wash basin for better water pressure. Cons: Nothing to complain about.
